Herbarium FAQ

How do I contact the Herbal Academy?

You can get in touch with us via our contact form on our main website. Note that we cannot address your personal health concerns.

How long is my membership good for?

Your membership will last one year from day of purchase.

Why do you charge a membership fee?

Membership fees go towards site development and design, hosting, continuous maintenance and upkeep, as well as providing compensation to guest contributors, video production costs, equipment and overhead costs, and other expenses associated with creating content and producing this website. We provide free articles about herbs on our main website’s blog, https://theherbalacademy.com/blog.

Can I cancel my Herbarium membership?

The Herbarium is your virtual and vibrant collection of herbal resources. The website will grow with new articles, podcasts, videos, media tools and of course monographs. It’s kind of like a virtual magazine! Your subscription covers an entire year of material, dished out each and every month. While there are no refunds after joining, you can cancel your subscription anytime, which will deactivate your annual renewal. To cancel, visit this page. Because you paid for an annual subscription, your access will be good for the rest of the year. For members who have signed up with a free coupon or trial period, your account will be deactivated immediately upon cancellation.

We’re sad to see you go.

What if I can’t remember my username?

Your username is the email address you used to sign up for your membership.

If I update my email address, will that also change my user name?

No. Your username will remain the same: the email address you used to sign up for The Herbarium.

Can I share my log in information with friends/family?

Unfortunately, sharing an account will result in account cancellation.

Where can I get more information about your online courses?

Visit this page for information about our courses and course paths.

Can I copy photos from your website?

Most of the photos you’ll come across here are licensed for use only on this site. Republishing such photos without permission would be considered a copyright violation.

Can I republish content from The Herbarium?

Monographs and articles in The Herbarium are for personal study use only. Readers may reference the monographs and articles in your own writing or on your websites but due to HA’s copyright policies, cannot be re-published or duplicated for personal or commercial use.

How often will you upload new content?

New content will be uploaded each week!

How can I change my profile picture?

To upload a profile photo, you may click this link to register for a global avatar using the same email address used in your account. This image will automatically appear beside your forum posts and comments on the Herbal Academy site.

If you already have a gravatar associated with a different email address that you’d like to use, you may update your email associated with your membership. Please note that this will NOT change your log in username.
