5 Mushrooms for Mental Health: Anxiety, Depression, Stress, & Chronic Fatigue with Logan Keister

In this class, we will explore 5 mushrooms used to support mental health: reishi, lion’s mane, cordyceps, amanita, and red belted conk. We will go in-depth and discuss the specific indications for each mushroom to help you determine which mushroom may be best suited to you, your clients, or your community.

Class Description:

In this masterclass, clinical herbalist, wildcrafter, and Herbal Academy Educator Logan Keister will discuss five mushrooms used by herbalists to address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, poor memory, chronic stress, and fatigue. We will explore the traditional uses of reishi, lion’s mane, cordyceps, amanita, and red belted conk, and discuss each mushroom’s unique, specific indications that make it well-suited to support particular mental health imbalances. Safety concerns and suggestions for safe and effective use will also be discussed.

While no one mushroom or herb can address all mental health issues, there is much that Kingdom Fungi has to offer, and we’ll explore this fascinating topic together to expand our materia medica in support of our friends, family, community, clients, and ourselves.
