Re-enchanting Connection: Plants & Practices for Light & Warmth with Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz

The longest night calls us inward, but it also calls us to tend the fire. In this class, we’ll explore how herbs and ritual can connect us to the winter solstice and provide meaningful tools to support our sense of well-being in body and spirit.

Class Description:

Rooted in ancestral knowledge, curandera and Herbal Academy Lead Herbalist Educator Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz leads a heart-centered discussion on the winter solstice, exploring plants that carry the sun’s energy deep into winter. From golden threads of saffron to gentle chamomile flowers, we’ll dive into warming, radiant herbs of the sun, to uplift our hearts, bodies, and spirits. You’ll learn how to work with these plants in ritual, in the teapot, and on the skin to kindle warmth and honor the returning of light.
