Tuning in to Seasonal Energetics & Natural Biorhythms with Sarah Wu
Tuning in to an awareness of seasonal energetics opens up our ability to support our own unique body constitution. In this class, we’ll explore the relationship between energetics of the season and our microclimate with our internal biorhythms, and the supportive roles herbs and holistic practices can play in this dance.
Class Description:
In this masterclass, herbalist, ecologist, and educator Sarah Wu explores the nature of energetics and how they affect and correspond to our individual biorhythms, through the lens of the continual interplay of that which is without our bodies and that which is within. Our biorhythms are guided by seasonal shifts, sunlight, the landscape we interact with, and the microclimate we inhabit, and each of these factors intermingles with and shifts our unique constitutions. Internal biorhythms include our circadian rhythm, stress and cortisol, serotonin and melatonin levels and our sleep cycle, and consequently our mood and digestion.
Together, we’ll learn about our own energetic profiles and our dominant trait through the lens of the elements of earth, air, fire, and water, and explore herbs, mushrooms, and lifestyle practices that can provide tailored support for you through these seasonal shifts. By the end of this class, you’ll feel inspired to tune yourself to the natural rhythms of your environment, and empowered to support yourself with plant allies and nourishing practices.
